So I have imported CAD created elements in REVIT and inserted in to families and then loaded in to REVIT the only down side is when you use the selection box to select multiple generic categories it does not let you select the only way to select these objects is to pick them individually I have hundreds of them so you could imagine the pain of copying etc.
